I WISH THIS WOULD BE YOUR COLOR

2016

German city Stuttgart strongly affected my perception and the way how I express myself s a painter. It was for the first time I lived in a city with a strong economic presence. Glass skyscrapers of renowned corporations Daimler and Porsche, modern office buildings, and luxury bakeries. Visuality of corporates not served as symbols of success, for me they were the ban to street life. It was the first time I saw the refugee family with small children to sleep on the street with a mattress.
I worked on Diploma work and had been thinking, how I will live as an artist. Stuttgart's corporate landscape mirrored my feelings of lost humanity in the entrepreneurial spirit.
I started to paint abstractions.
