FIN ENTRY
2022
The title of the painting series refers to traveller service in Finland facilitating travel during a coronavirus pandemic. The service description states three words in which I found my feelings expressing the Finnish approach to life - EVALUATE, INFORMATION, AND SELF-ISOLATION.
As an immigrant in Finland, I naturally deal with the issues of finding a new identity and assimilating into the Finnish society. I portrayed humans struggling with their destiny, striving for success to find their own place in the world. It is a story of the wounded being, the confrontation, rebellion and the inner need of self-identification.
