I love to meet people I don’t know. Corona pandemic screwed my travelling plans and that’s why I began to crave fictional encounters with strangers. With the exhibition “Anonymous Man” I am bringing you on my imaginary voyage where I fantasise about which type of people I could meet. The main character of the paintings is a young man, who fights his destiny and makes his own effort to succeed and find his place in the world. It is a story of wounded manhood and defying oneself. As a foreigner in the world, he strives for a place to be called a “home”. He long for confidence, devotion, passion, friendship, enjoyment, approval, tenderness and love.

He is a man who saw the world and got intimate with death. 

I favour him for his boldness to tirelessly look for all imaginable paths to reach a Lucky Star…
